Well, the other day, DH's ex-SIL called to inform me that her sister had been arrested.  Now mind you, the woman has custody of his daughter but in our county the Family Law Master wouldn't think to remove said child from her mother's custody no matter what!  So 5 years ago she left the state with their daughter and, in my opinion, her goal has been achieved, she has separated father and child.  Now, thanks to her royally screwing up (note the arrest), we are wondering what will happen now.  According to what she told her sister, she cut a deal with the cops.  They drop her charges (she was caught with 60 percosets, not her prescription, she stole them from her place of employment) against her from felony to misdemeanor and she agrees to be wired and go make the 'sale' she originally planned to make and they'd catch the 'bad guys.'  She'll probably lose her nursing license and return to our state.  Selfish me, I just wish she'd waited another 18 months before she got caught!
